Missions– Bringing the truth and love of Jesus Christ to people from a different cultural and geographical setting from yourself.
Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. ~Matthew 28:19-20
Evangelism– Clearly explaining what the Bible says about Heaven and Hell, how anyone can be saved through Jesus’ death and resurrection, and giving them an invitation to follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
We are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. ~II Corinthians 5:20
Discipleship– Guiding a believer how to become more and more like Christ.
What you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful servants, who will be able to teach others also. ~II Timothy 2:2
Apologetics– Answering the most difficult questions about faith and life.
Always be prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. ~I Peter 3:15
Love– Caring about others and putting their needs on the same level of importance as your own. Charity, Political activism, calls for unity, and everything else is covered by “Love.”
If I speak in all the languages of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only making senseless noise. If I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and have faith to move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and even deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. ~ I Corinthians 13:1-3
